Welcome to aboutmen.ca

Hi and welcome to our blog.

Since there are sensitive sexual issues that will be discussed in these bytes, we are hoping to keep the dialogue on the up and up.

Don’t waste your time submitting obscene, inane or clearly politically incorrect postings. They will be returned, or blasted off into the great waste bucket in the bottom corner of my desktop.

Intelligent repartee is always welcome. We may edit some postings for clarity or to emphasize points that are particularly relevant (or delete points that clearly aren’t).

NOTE: Nothing that you see expressed here, by physicians or lay people, should be taken as personal medical advice. To diagnose any condition properly requires not only a medical history, but also a physical examination by a trained physician. Don’t try and diagnose yourself online. See your doctor for any troubling medical issues. If you don’t know much about the range of diseases, disorders and presenting symptoms, we expect that you will find this website a source of thorough, credible, and practical health information, for the typical guy and the non-typical amongst you.

Remember: “It is not only acceptable to be different, it is necessary.”

In terms of preventative measures, are there things that men over 50 can do to prevent or inhibit the development of memory loss?
