How do I cope with hypogonadism? What kind of support is available?

Educating yourself and becoming aware of the signs and symptoms of hypogonadism is the first thing you can do to help with coping. As you come to understand the problem, you will find it easier to copy and find the necessary supports.  It is also important to communicate how you are feeling with your partner and/or family members so that they too can be a source of support. Make sure you talk to your doctor early about any concerns you are having, whether physical, emotional/psychological, or sexual, and ask about some of the treatment options available to you. Individual counselling, family counselling, and support groups can also be helpful.
